Cookie Policy
DeskWink uses only strictly necessary cookies: one for your sign-in session and one to protect against forged requests. No analytics, no advertising.
We use only strictly necessary cookies: a session cookie and a CSRF cookie. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Because of that, we do not show a cookie banner.
1. What cookies we set
| Cookie | What it does | Where | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
Session cookie (__Host-dw_console) | Keeps you signed in to the console and to the sign-in and consent pages. | app.deskwink.com, auth.deskwink.com | Until you sign out or the session expires |
| CSRF cookie | Protects you against forged requests: it makes sure an action in the console really came from you. | app.deskwink.com, auth.deskwink.com | Same as the session |
The public website at deskwink.com does not set any cookies. These cookies belong only to DeskWink’s own domains and are not shared with other companies.
2. Why no consent banner
Cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for do not need your consent under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations or the EU ePrivacy rules. We do not set any other cookies. If we ever add anything else, such as analytics, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
3. Other companies’ cookies
If you choose to sign in with Google, you are taken to a Google page. Google may set its own cookies there, under Google’s policies. The AI apps you connect, such as Claude and ChatGPT, are other companies’ services with their own cookie policies.
4. Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block these two, you will not be able to sign in to the console. Signing out ends the session.
